Tech Lead Fullstack (W/M) - Java/Angular

To improve our cloud-based notary solution, we are in need of hiring a Sr. Java/Angular Developer with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Angular and MySQL database experience. The right candidate will help the development team producing a high quality code and take part of technical choices. You will work with software architects, other tech leads and product managers to translate product requirements into technical requirements.
- Development experience in Java/Angular cloud projects
- Strong experience in implementing successful distributed, scalable, high-performance server applications
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues detected by internal QA or users
- Guide other software engineers to design and implement well-integrated products
- Leverages best practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. Familiarity with git flows.
- Cross-train junior developers on product features that are implemented
- Works with product owners, architects and software development managers to identify the technical and functional needs of the system, determine priority and ensure an integrated end to end design and delivery
- Prepare regular reporting on the team technical skills and development complexity and risks
- Ensure the achievement of project objectives within the quality, budget and timeframe defined
- Influence and advise project decision-makers as required
Candidate Profile:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree;
- Fluent in English (Mandatory); French is a plus;
More than 5 years...
- of experience as lead developer for software development companies
- of strong experience with Spring 5 & Hibernate 5 with Rest API / Websocket in Stateless applications
- of strong experience with Angular 8+ Typescript, Angular material is highly desired, ngrx is a plus
- of experience (Expert level comfort) in traversing the entire Java and Web stack: client-side through the persistence layer.
- of experience establishing the project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables and perform hands-on software design and development in Java
- of experience Identifying potential problems and resolving customer complaints, performing peer code reviews and provide feedback
- of experience developing and executing unit tests for product components and working with cross-functional teams, including Business, QA and Operations
- of experience in CI/CD Pipeline building (Jenkins) and Maven / Ant
Required skills:
- Development experience in an enterprise-class system with multi-tier and micro-services oriented architecture
- Work closely with management to determine the feasibility of product features
- In-depth knowledge of Java, OO programming, and modern web applications built on distributed service architecture
- Proficient with Microservices (REST API), Spring
- Strong experience in implementing successful distributed, scalable, high-performance multi-threaded server applications
- Experience creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular 6+.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in Angular with performance, immutability and common pitfalls
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, ensure cohesive teamwork
- Experience with Agile project management method and encourage innovation of process and creative development methodologies
