Generate, Capture and Retain talent

Work in Braga aims to bring together the business community, the academic community and the available talent.

Integrating demand and offers of employment and training, it offers useful indications and advice about the municipality of Braga for those who live here and those who intend to live.

The Work in Braga Project, a partnership between Investbraga, Braga City Council and Groups of Companies in the municipality, aims to bring the business, academic community and available talent closer together.

The survey of the Human Resources needs of the municipality, allows the identification of the Talent profiles currently required, the survey of the training needs and the identification of the gaps currently existing in the organizations participating in the Study and crossing with the exit profiles of the Universities and Training entities.

In this sense, bringing the exit profiles of the training centers closer to the profiles needed in the business fabric, is vital for the balance of the labor market in Braga.

Aware of the importance of the Talent Management for the economic dynamism of the city of Braga and the sustainability of an excellent organization, InvestBraga has launched a Talent Mapping Study of the Braga Business District.

The study was founded on a methodology based on the analysis of questionnaires answered by the companies in the municipality, one-to-one interviews with key interlocutors from the various companies involved in the project, universities and training entities, given that they are the holders of the know-how on the challenges of talent in the municipality of Braga.
